My latest work is of a place I haven’t seen for many years up over the top of Piethorne Reservoir, Newhey. The last time I saw the subject, it’s an old run down wall of what could have been a farm house, or just a massive wall. Sat on that very wall the last time I saw it was a Wheatear, which is a small summer visiting bird from Africa. That’s why I’ve titled this work ‘Wheatear’.

Sat on that very wall the last time I saw it was a Wheatear, which is a small summer visiting bird from Africa. That’s why I’ve titled this work ‘Wheatear’.

Exhibition: Comrades in Art

I have just finished exhibiting at the Museum/Gallery in Uppermill, Saddleworth. I was one of four artists whose art was on show. The title of the exhibition was ‘Comrades in Art’. It’s the second exhibition at this venue that I have been a part of, the first was in 2018. Both exhibitions were very popular and I would like to thank everyone who attended.
